Stay happy at Poppy&Rye.

This spacious house has everything you need for a great stay! Dana and Rye did not miss a thing. The house is beautiful and so relaxing! We spent a lot of time on the front porch and in the backyard. Perfect location in Waco! You can park your car and walk to great restaurants, shops, a bakery, and museum. The grocery store is a short drive, and the kitchen is fully stocked to whip up a meal. We’ve stayed at Dana and Rye’s other house, and we will definitely rent either one on future trips to Waco. We love Dana and Rye’s houses. Feels like home!

We absolutely loved the Poppy and Rye house! The location is fantastic, and there are clear instructions for literally everything. Dana went above and beyond to bring my groceries inside when they were delivered and my flight was delayed! Would highly recommend.

This wasn’t just a place to stay. It was an experience. Every corner, every detail, felt intentional—like someone truly cared. The cottage was immaculate, beautifully designed, and inviting beyond words. Plush linens, thoughtful extras, and little touches made it feel like home…but better. What made it unforgettable, though, was the story woven throughout the space. You could feel Poppy’s presence everywhere. His legacy lives on in the art, the books, the cozy corners, the memories curated into the soul of the home. It didn’t just tell a story—it welcomed you into it. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to all that Waco has to offer. But honestly, we didn’t want to leave the cottage at all.

We loved our stay at Poppy & Rye Bungalow! We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Waco. I love the decor and how every piece has its place. It’s all so aesthetically pleasing but also functional and comfy. The place was clean, well kept, and the aroma of candles filled the space when we got there. The moment you step in, you feel at home. My boys especially loved the little chocolate surprises left around the house. Our hosts were amazing. They gave suggestions for food, activities, places to visit, etc. If you want to stay at home away from home, this is the place to stay at. We hope to be back soon!

Poppy & Rye was perfection! We love music, so the nearby bar didn't bother us a bit. They thought of every detail and more. Perfection perfected, and we loved the fun surprises!

We had an absolutely amazing time! The house was close to all the downtown attractions and you could walk pretty much everywhere. The inside of the house could not have been more perfect. Extremely comfortable for our crew and all the finishes were great. Would definitely come back and highly recommend staying while in Waco!

We loved the "Poppy & Rye" house! We immediately felt at home with all of the personal touches and cozy vibe. The hosts are so friendly & attentive, and they clearly put a lot of thought into every detail of this home. We will definitely consider staying here for our next trip to Waco!

I absolutely loved this Airbnb! Dana was so kind and quick to respond if we have needs or questions. The Airbnb was beautiful, exactly as described. It was nicely decorated, tidy, and clean! We were greeted with a sweet personalized card, scones, and some amazing smelling candles on our first day. You could tell how every space had a personalized touch and they thought of everything. The kitchen was very well stocked and the living room was so cozy. I was a little concerned about how the noise would be at night because of it being so close to the street but I didn’t hear much and slept amazing (the cozy beds were a huge plus)! There were ear plugs and noise machine just in case. The little outside area was so beautiful and I wish we would have more time to use it but unfortunately we ran out of time! The Airbnb was very close to all the places we wanted to go. I will definitely plan to stay in this place when we come back to Waco! I definitely recommend it!

First time in Waco, doing a mini trip from Houston to celebrate a birthday. So glad we found this as the location was perfect and having the kitchen and extra space was much more comfortable than a hotel. They had thoughtful touches all over and had it not been so hot we would have really enjoyed the outdoor space. If we find ourselves in the area again, I would very likely try to book here again!
