Poppy & Rye was the ideal retreat for our group of three couples. Every detail of the home felt intentional from the stylish decor to the thoughtful amenities. It was clear that a lot of care went into creating a comfortable, welcoming space. The location was very convenient. We appreciated how well-equipped and beautifully maintained everything was. We’ll definitely be booking again the next time we’re in the area

My family really enjoy the beautiful, cozy, clean, well-stocked house. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the efforts to make us comfortable 🥰. We are welcome with cookies n chocolate and fragrant candles. The many small details really make the difference. I think this is one of the best airbnb I have ever stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dana's place! The home was exactly as advertised with comfortable beds, modern updates, and lots of homey touches. There were a variety of thoughtful amenities including a well-stocked coffee and tea bar, breakfast scones, ear plugs, and lots of local recommendations. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved the place and will definitely be back when in town…if available! The walk in appeal was so cozy and welcoming! So many little touches that made this stay the best ever. Bed was also dreamy! Fireplace ambience amazing. Thank you for a wonderful time!!!

This review will never be sufficient to say how much we enjoyed our stay! My only regret is I wished we would have stayed 2 nights to fully spend a day at the house. No detail is overlooked. From the blueberry scones upon arrival to the spray misting fans by the lawn chairs ready to go, Poppy & Rye have got you. Book it now!

I wish I would have stayed sooner! Perfect place for a family gathering. Lovely decor and amenities. Perfect spot for us to celebrate our Baylor grad. Great location for Waco site seeing. No notes, highly recommend

I have stayed in numerous Airbnbs over the past 10 years. So when I say this home, not just a house, a home was all you could ask for. From walking up to the bright colored poppy door, to the southern surprise of Dr. Pepper and peanuts, waiting in the refrigerator, for you. Tasteful decorated from ceiling to floor. The beds were just right for a good nights sleep. Being a sinamental soul, Poppy’s poems placed throughout the home was a sweet touch. You will feel right at home as soon as you arrive. Thank you Dana for your understanding and support towards my daughter’s photo day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will for sure be back Shelly

We have stayed at so many Airbnbs and this was the best experience we have ever had! This was a one night stop over for our trip. My son asked me if we could just stay there the whole time! The thoughtfulness of everything in the home is remarkable. Rye & Dana are the best hosts and I hope other Airbnb hosts can make a stay at their place to learn a few things (no offense to any of the previous hosts we’ve had, just saying they went above and beyond the standard). My husband and I have already decided to make Waco a destination for the two of us and to stay at this home again in the future. It’s really awesome the touches they have put into the place and how Poppy’s legacy is living on through it! Also to note, we loved the tile, faucets, and the woodworking details throughout, as well as the picture wall and all of Poppy’s poetry and the instructional and informative notes! This one can’t be beat! (Except maybe the other homes they have?) Can’t wait to find out!

First time to Texas and Poppy’s Place was so fun and welcoming! We came to Texas to see our son graduate from Ft Sam in San Antonio❤️ Since we were coming into Texas we thought why not stop in Waco first for a couple days to see Magnolia. This house was the PERFECT location! It’s just like a 5 minute walk to the Silos! We were able to walk everywhere we went except for Magnolia Table..but that is only a 5 or so minute drive. The house is adorable and you can tell the owners put a whole lot of love and time into it. If you are staying in Waco..search no further! Book this house! You will love it❤️❤️
